Chemical constituent from the stem bark of Samanea saman

Abstract

New flavonoid glycoside luteolin-7-O-[-b-D-arabinopyranosyl (1®2)] -b-D-arabinopyranoside 1 have been isolated from the stem bark of Samanea saman. The structures have been established on the basis of chemical evidences and spectroscopic method.
